Notices

・Since natural wood is used, the grain is different for each piece. Please understand that this is a characteristic of the material. ・Since natural lacquer is used, the color may vary. Lacquer does not dry without humidity. We control humidity and temperature, but the color may vary depending on the day it is applied. Please understand that this is a characteristic of lacquer. ・Since natural lacquer is used, in rare cases, depending on your constitution, you may experience an allergic reaction. ・Do not use for any purpose other than chopsticks. ・The usable period will vary depending on how it is handled and the environment. ・Since it is a wooden product, expansion, bending, and cracking may occur. ・Chopsticks are consumables. Replace them if they are damaged.

Modern chopsticks that blend the beauty of tradition and contemporary design.
Crafted from Noto Hiba, the prefectural tree of Ishikawa, these chopsticks are finished by Wajima artisans who have honed their skills over generations in the art of lacquered chopsticks.
The name “Jūhachi-zen” (literally “Eighteen Chopsticks”) was chosen to reflect the artisans’ pride in their ohako—their signature, most masterful craft.
Using the traditional fuki-urushi (wiped lacquer) technique, the chopsticks achieve a smooth, refined texture with a deep, natural gloss that enhances the beauty of the wood grain.
The understated black and white lacquer create a sophisticated monochrome finish that complements any table setting, from Japanese to Western styles, adding a subtle touch of character.
They also pair beautifully with natural-toned tableware and wooden items.
Highly durable and naturally antibacterial, these chopsticks offer both safety and comfort.
The lightweight Noto Hiba wood makes them easy to handle, allowing you to feel the texture of the food and enjoy your meals even more.
Perfect for everyday use, for guests, or for special occasions—and an ideal gift with a touch of Japanese elegance.
Bring timeless simplicity and quiet beauty to your daily dining experience.
