Notices

This outdoor knife embodies 116 years of traditional craftsmanship.
It represents the culmination of a product history that has supported the local community through knives used in fishing, farming, and everyday life.
The blade is crafted using Aogami No. 2 Yasugi steel, a material derived from Japanese swordmaking techniques, and features a san-mai construction, with the steel core clad in stainless steel.
Its exceptional toughness allows it to handle wood carving, fire-starting, and use with a striker.
The knife’s simple, rustic character and rugged, no-nonsense design—true to the spirit of a makiri—are also part of its appeal.
A highly versatile knife, it is well suited for processing meat and fish as well as cutting vegetables.
The Aogami No. 2 steel offers long-lasting sharpness, and the double-bevel edge, uncommon for traditional Japanese knives, delivers a clean, crisp cutting feel.

Each blade is carefully forged one by one using a free-forging method in a furnace exceeding 1,000°C, achieving an ideal balance of razor-sharp performance and durability.

The handle is made from walnut wood, chosen for its comfortable grip and natural warmth in appearance.

An original genuine leather sheath is included, allowing the knife to be stored and carried safely.

Once you experience its ease of use, you’ll never want to be without it—an exceptional piece where culture and craftsmanship are distilled into a single, trustworthy companion for the outdoors.
