If the pottery is dry and comes into contact with dark liquids, it may become discolored, so before using it, soak the pottery in rice water or wheat flour in a large bowl or pot for a day and night. If you put the pottery away in a cupboard without drying it thoroughly, mold may grow on the surface, so if you are not going to use it for a long time, please dry it thoroughly before putting it away. Pottery has fine cracks on the surface due to the shrinkage rate (how it shrinks when fired) of the "craze" and the "glaze" on top. Tea stains and lye will be attached to the cracks over time, giving it a completely different feel from the original texture. Enjoying this is one way to enjoy pottery. It will last longer if you do not use it in the microwave. When using it in the dishwasher, make sure it does not come into contact with other pottery. The back side is polished with sandpaper, but if you drag it over glass or wooden products, it will scratch the glass or wood, so please do not drag it over them.
