Marugo is a long-established manufacturer of jika-tabi, founded in 1919 in Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture. The craftsmen there take the time to carefully finish each pair. The toe area in particular requires delicate techniques that can only be achieved by hand, and tradition and skill are alive and well in the industry.
Marugo's technology was used to create the tabi-style strap shoes "coppelia lily." These shoes have an appealing design that can be used in a wide range of styles, from casual to elegant and feminine. The straps hold the feet securely, so you can wear them with confidence without worrying about them slipping off.

The tabi-style design allows the toes to spread freely and does not constrict the toes, giving the sensation of the entire sole of the foot gripping the ground, supporting a comfortable and balanced walk. The fabric used is carefully woven velveteen, which is characterized by its soft texture and elegant luster, giving it a luxurious finish.
