This is a classic "Kabazaiku" tea canister, made entirely from natural cherry bark, a material that has been cherished for generations. While Japan is home to a wide variety of traditional crafts, those using the bark of wild cherry trees (yamazakura) are truly one-of-a-kind, even on a global scale.
