Notices

A transparent Kyoto folding fan that is beautiful as an interior decoration. Just by using the fan surface as a picture frame and leaning it against it, it will brighten up the place.

At Satsuki Fan, we use a technique called ``Kata-paste'' to create original fans that are not limited by material, thickness, or shape constraints. This product uses specially thinly made Etchu washi paper, which is designated as a national traditional craft. A thin gauze (a type of silk fabric) is attached to the back of the flower pattern hand-carved by a carver, creating a cool, transparent feel.

In addition, the unique colors carefully colored by a skilled painter who also handles Kyo Yuzen are a craftsmanship that can never be reproduced with prints. This Kyoto folding fan shows the craftsmanship and is cool both when used and when displayed. A fan bag with embroidery is also included in the set.
