This one-of-a-kind vessel features elegant, natural chijire (wrinkles or ripples), creating a powerful and beautiful landscape in ceramic form.

The name "Ryūsō" (Dragon Claw) is inspired by the dragon god legends that remain around Lake Biwa. It refers to the strong, claw-like ripples on the surface. "Kairagi" is a term originally used for the stingray skin wrapped around the handles of Japanese swords, and this ceramic texture closely resembles that distinctive surface. Hence, the piece is named "Ryūsō Kairagi"—a fusion of strength and elegance.

Each piece has its own unique texture and expression, a hallmark of handcrafted artistry. The individual variations in the chijire pattern resemble dragon claw marks, giving each vessel a one-of-a-kind appearance.

The Tsubomi Tsubo (Bud Vase) can be placed in multiple orientations—upright, angled, or tilted—allowing the same flower to take on different expressions. This versatile flower vessel offers new enjoyment with every arrangement.

Highly regarded as a new style of Japanese ceramic art, it has received praise in luxury hotels and high-end restaurants.

The Ryūsō Kairagi Tsubomi Tsubo is not only a flower vessel but also serves beautifully as a refined decorative object, adding a touch of sophistication to any space.
