Notices

A cutting board by the brand NUSA, which brings the traditional sanpō stand into modern daily life.

In Japan, sanpō stands have long been used in Shinto rituals and seasonal celebrations such as moon-viewing. Drawing on over 300 years of craftsmanship by Iwata Sanbou Seisakusho, each board is carefully handcrafted by skilled artisans.

The design features a motif inspired by the characteristic holes called ganzō found in traditional sanpō. Three types of wood are available: Hinoki cypress, wild cherry, and Japanese pagoda tree (enju).

The surface is finished with flaxseed oil, which helps prevent stains and discoloration, preserving its beautiful appearance over time.

Two sizes are available:

  • L size: 15 cm (W) × 37.5 cm (D)

  • M size: 11 cm (W) × 45 cm (D)
