This stole is made from paper threads made from Kurotani washi paper, said to be the strongest paper in Japan, and woven together with silk threads. It is light and smooth to the touch, so it is non-sticky and can be used throughout the year, from spring, summer, fall, and early winter. Enjoy the way it adapts to your skin as you wear it, creating a beautiful texture over time.

◇What is ``Kurotani Washi''? It is a unique paper cloth made from ``Kurotani Washi'', which is handmade by craftsmen one by one in Kyoto's paper town, which has a history of 800 years. The washi paper, which is made from the same high-quality kozo as the raw material, is adjusted to the optimal thickness and strength for textiles. From the twisting of the paper threads to the weaving using Karamiori , the product was completed after extensive research with craftsmen.

As a result, the suppleness and strength of handmade washi paper, as well as its moisture-controlling and heat-retaining properties, are passed on to the fabric. In addition, the irregular bulges (fushi) on the surface are a unique feature of paper cloth twisted from handmade Japanese paper.
